The Siberian brown bear is intermediate in size between the Eurasian and Kamchatka brown bears. It is larger than the Eurasian brown bear, with more massive bones and a somewhat larger and heavier skull, but smaller than the Kamchatka brown bear, with a considerably smaller and lighter skull.

We are glad to offer you hunting for 4 different bear species in Russia. One of them is the Siberian Bear. The Siberian brown bear is intermediate in size between the Eurasian and Kamchatka brown bears. It is larger than the Eurasian brown bear, with more massive bones and a somewhat larger and heavier skull, but smaller than the Kamchatka brown bear, with a considerably smaller and lighter skull. The fur is long, soft and dense. The color is usually dark brown with noticeably darker legs, but will vary from light pale brown to dark brown, and some individuals will show yellowish, cinnamon or black tones.

The hunt is organized at the baits or by searching the bear at the southern sides of the hills. The bears tend to spend much time in the sun after emerging from the den. Hunting is spot- and-stalk. Sometimes boats can be used for transportation around the area.

Hunting season: April-May, August-September.

Hunting territory: Tomsk region is located in the South of the Western Siberia. The distance from Moscow is 3500 km. Tomsk region borders on Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions and on the Krasnoyarsk territory as well. The territory of the Tomsk region is flat and taiga land, most of it is covered with cedar, pine and birch forests. The climate is temperate and continental.

Accommodation is in the simple wooden houses or tented camps.
    Day 01 - Arrival in Moscow. Customs formalities, then transfer for the domestic flight or stay overnight. Flight to Tomsk.
    Day 02 - Car transfer to the hunting area. Accommodation, rest.
    Day 03-09 - 7 day hunt.
    Day 10 - Car transfer to Tomsk.
    Day 11 - Flight back to Moscow. Flight back home.
